Quick answer

The best gifts for coffee lovers are the ones that improve the coffee they already drink: a burr grinder, a scale, a gooseneck kettle or a good brewer. For a small gift, the Hario V60 and James Hoffmann’s World Atlas of Coffee are easy wins, the AeroPress Original is great for a bit more, and for a big one, look at the Baratza Encore or a Technivorm Moccamaster. Stock and prices change quickly in November and December, so check Amazon before you decide.

Stocking stuffers

01Hario V60 dripper (size 02)

The V60 is a dripper we brew on ourselves, and it’s the one we’d hand to anyone curious about pour-over. The size 02 brews 1 to 4 cups and uses 02 paper filters, so tuck in a box of V60 filters too. It’s very well reviewed, with 4.8 stars from more than 7,000 ratings on Amazon at the time of writing. Our guide to the best pour-over drippers compares it with the Chemex and Kalita Wave.

02The World Atlas of Coffee, 3rd edition

James Hoffmann’s atlas covers how coffee is grown, processed and brewed, and then goes country by country through the places that grow it. That fits how we think about coffee at Regions: by where it grows. Amazon says the third edition came out in late 2025, with new chapters on decaffeination and steep-and-release brewers, and it has 4.8 stars at the time of writing.

Small gifts

01AeroPress Original

We brew with an original AeroPress, and it’s the easiest gift we can recommend for someone who isn’t ready to buy a lot of gear. It’s a portable plastic brewer that makes about 10 oz at a time in around two minutes, and it’s hard to break and easy to clean. It has more than 26,000 ratings on Amazon at 4.6 stars at the time of writing. It makes one mug at a time, so it isn’t for a crowd.

02Fellow Carter 12 oz mug

A vacuum-insulated, ceramic-lined travel mug. Fellow says it keeps drinks hot for 12 hours and cold for 24, and the lid twist-locks to prevent leaks. Amazon lists it as dishwasher safe, and it’s well reviewed, with 4.6 stars from more than 1,200 ratings at the time of writing. A good pick for a commuter.

03Chemex Classic 6-cup

We brew on a 10-cup Chemex, but for a gift the 6-cup is the better fit. Chemex lists it as best for couples or small households, and it holds 30 oz (a Chemex “cup” is 5 oz). It’s a glass carafe with a wood collar and leather tie, and it needs bonded square filters, which are sold separately. Both sizes are very well reviewed on Amazon, at 4.8 stars. If the person you’re shopping for hosts a lot, the 10-cup is the size we own and it holds 50 oz. Add a box of Chemex filters.

04Hario V60 Drip Scale

A practical gift for anyone who brews pour-over. It reads to 0.1 g, has a built-in timer and sits neatly under a V60 and a mug. It’s well reviewed, with a 4.2-star average from more than 2,000 ratings at the time of writing. See our guide to the best coffee scales for other options.

Step-up gifts

01Timemore Chestnut C3S hand grinder

A well-built hand grinder with an aluminum body and a stainless steel conical burr, rated at about 25 g of beans per load. It’s a good way to upgrade someone from a blade grinder without spending electric-grinder money, and it has 4.6 stars from a few hundred Amazon ratings at the time of writing. See our guide to the best coffee grinders for more.

02Bonavita 1L gooseneck kettle

An electric gooseneck kettle with 1-degree temperature control, six presets and a 1 L capacity. It’s a good pick for anyone who brews pour-over, and it’s well reviewed, with 4.4 stars from more than 7,000 ratings at the time of writing. Our guide to the best gooseneck kettles has more options.

Big gifts

Baratza Encore

The upgrade people rarely buy for themselves. A burr grinder is one of the best things you can give someone who is still grinding with blades or buying pre-ground coffee. The Encore has 40 grind settings and 40 mm conical burrs, and more than 16,000 ratings on Amazon at the time of writing.

Splurges

01Fellow Stagg EKG Pro

A showpiece gooseneck kettle with to-the-degree temperature control, a color display, scheduling, an adjustable hold mode and a built-in brew timer. It holds 0.9 L and has a 4.5-star average on Amazon from a couple of hundred ratings at the time of writing.

02Technivorm Moccamaster KBGV Select

We brew with a Technivorm Moccamaster in Stone Grey, which is the 53949 listed here. It’s a drip coffee maker with a 1.25 L (40 oz) carafe that, according to the listing, brews a full pot in 4 to 6 minutes and is SCA certified for both half and full carafes. It has no timer or programmable features. It’s a big gift, but it’s the machine we’d choose for someone who drinks drip coffee every day. Other colors are available on Amazon.

How we chose these gifts

We wanted gifts that coffee lovers actually use, across a range of budgets. Most are tools that make the coffee they already drink better, plus one book and one mug. We favored products with good Amazon ratings, a track record, and clear instructions or an easy learning curve, and we checked that each was in stock on Amazon in October 2026. Stock can change quickly in the weeks before the holidays.

We haven’t tested every product in this guide. We’ve been brewing coffee at home for more than 15 years, and our own setup is a Technivorm Moccamaster (Stone Grey), an original AeroPress, a 10-cup Chemex and a Hario V60. We only describe something as our own experience when it’s one of those. Everything else is a researched pick, based on manufacturer details, Amazon listings and customer ratings we checked in October 2026.

Coffee gift FAQ

What’s a good gift for someone who already has a lot of coffee gear?

Look at consumables and upgrades: filters in the size they use, a bag of good coffee, a scale if they don’t have one, or a book like The World Atlas of Coffee. If you can, check what they brew with before you buy.

What’s the best coffee gift for a beginner?

The AeroPress Original, or a Hario V60 with a box of filters. Both are affordable and easy to learn, and our guide to brewing coffee at home will help them get started.

How much should I spend on a coffee lover?

A great gift doesn’t need to be expensive. A V60, an AeroPress or a mug is a small gift that coffee lovers actually use. Spend more on something they’ll use every day, like a grinder or a kettle.

When should I order for the holidays?

Order early. Amazon shows delivery estimates at checkout, and popular gifts can run low in November and December. We can’t promise delivery dates on items sold by Amazon.

Can I give Regions coffee as a gift?

Our first coffees are listed as coming soon, so check each product page for current availability before you plan a gift around one.

Do these links cost me anything extra?

No. They’re Amazon affiliate links, so Regions Coffee Supply earns from qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.

Add a bag of Regions coffee

Gear needs something to brew. Our coffees are organized by where they grow: Hills Over Huila from Colombia, Fruits of Kochere from Ethiopia and Noche Oscura del Peru from Peru, plus three blends: Daybreak Blend, Espresso Sunrise and Campfire Fusion. Pair a V60 with a single origin like Fruits of Kochere, or an AeroPress or Moccamaster with a blend like Daybreak Blend.

Several of our coffees are still listed as coming soon, so check each page for current availability, roast and tasting notes before you plan a gift around one. Building a whole setup?
